Bodega y Muelle de Granada En El Gran Lago Cocibolca, Nicaragua






El Muelle de Granada situado al final de la calle principal del turismo Granadino, Calle La Calzada Vista hacia el lago - Final Calle La Calzada, junto al malecon de Granada, y con una extension de 700 pies de largo y unos 16 pies de ancho. Este puerto es la principal comunicacion con el resto de los puerto navios como son el puerto de San Carlos, el Puerto de Moyogalpa en la isla de Ometepe, y como recorrido turístico de las isletas de Granada Bodega del Muelle Esta se construyó el 5 de junio de 1871, tiene la forma de un galerón de madera que mide 26 mts. de largo por 5.15 mts. de ancho. Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción (Nueva Catedral de Cuenca), Ecuador


The New Cathedral of Cuenca (Spanish: Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción) is the cathedral church in Cuenca, Ecuador. The cathedral is located in front of Parque Calderon. The project of the cathedral was drawn by Juan Bautista Stiehle on suggestions made by Bishop León Garrido. The cathedral took over the function of the nearby Old Cathedral that had become too small. Construction works started in 1885 and lasted for almost a century. This building combines many architecture styles, nevertheless romanesque is predominant. Cathedral of St. Philomena's Mysore, India









The St. Philomena's Church in Mysore is one of the oldest churches in India. It is over 200 years old. Initially over 250 years ago there was a small church in its place. When the capital of Mysore state was move from Srirangapatnam to Mysore city in 1799, many British officers and soldiers came and settled down in Mysore. The Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar III realized the need for a Christian church for these people. So the Maharaja gave them a small plot of land on the Mysore-Bangalore Road and a little church came up there. As the city expanded and the Christian population of the city increased there was a need for a larger church. http://www.mysore.org.uk/tourist-attractions/philomena-church.html So plans for made to build a larger church and thus came into existence the famous St. Philomena Church of Mysore. Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV laid the foundation of the new church on October 28th, 1933 that was to be built in the place of the small church built by his grandfather. A Frenchman named Daly designed the church. The floor plan of the cathedral is in the form of a cross. The long part of the cross is the 'nave', which is the congregation hall. The two arms of the cross are the 'transepts'. The fourth part containing the altar and the choir is the 'crossing'.




National Fort of Saint Malo







The Fort National, (formerly called the Fort Royal), dates back to 1689. At that time, it was built by Vauban in order to protect St. Malo. The fort can be reached at low tide. Take the old stone stairway down from the ramparts to the magnificent Paramé beach, and you will see the fort.
